Brynwood Partners V L.P. Divests Metro Door

GREENWICH, CT - January 5, 2011 - Brynwood Partners V L.P. announced today that it has sold its investment in Metro Door, Inc. to an undisclosed NYSE listed provider of specialized business services. The terms and conditions of the transaction were not disclosed.

Metro Door, headquartered in Great River, NY, is a leading provider of facility maintenance services to national retail and restaurant accounts in addition to designing and manufacturing retail security enclosures. Brynwood V acquired Metro Door in 2004 and over the past six years the company has experienced significant growth through new customer acquisitions and the introduction of facility services. Metro Door currently employs 130 people and its management team will remain with the company after the closing.
