Stella D’oro Company Names Michele Abo as its President

Bronx, NY – April 25, 2007 – Stella D’oro announced today that it has named Michele Abo to the position of President effective May 2, 2007. Ms. Abo brings a tremendous amount of experience to Stella D’oro through her years in the industry. Most recently Ms. Abo served as Vice President, National Accounts and Business Development for the Entenmanns’s division of George Weston Bakeries. Prior to that, Ms. Abo was Vice President, Sales for the New York Metro Region for George Weston. Before joining George Weston, Ms. Abo held executive sales positions at both Frito-Lay and the Boston Popcorn Company.
